Joel Veness is an Artist, Muralist, and Musician based in Sydney, Australia.

Joel studied Fine Arts at The National Arts School in Sydney.

He has also studied and holds qualifications as an Art Director, Graphic Designer, as well as being a fully qualified Interior Architect.

Joel’s work has been collected both locally and internationally.

His work has been featured in Russh Magazine, Vogue Magazine, and he has been Interviewed about his practice with Destination NSW.

Joel has exhibited and been represented by Sydney based Gallery Curatorial + Co. Currently Joel’s work is available to purchase at Innerspace in Paddington, Sydney.

In 2020 Joel created an 80ft mural in Paddington. The mural was inspired by Easter Island, and it was voted one of the must see murals by Inside Out Magazine. Currently Joel is working with Sydney Water to update the Mural.

Joel is a self taught musician. He has been playing piano for the last two years. Previously to that Joel has experimented with Analog Synthesisers and drum machines. He has also created Digital Videos to go along with these works.

Currently Joel is working on a number of Mural projects, as well as working on releasing his first Album.
